The main objective of this work is to synthesize combination pigments including mica-titania as a pearlescent pigment and CuPh and TCuPh as absorption pigments. In this method, because the
phthalocyanines were soluble in DMF, no additional dispersing agents or processing steps were required; in addition, no compatibility binders were needed to adhere the phthalocyanines onto
mica surfaces.
