The Echotrac MKIII is designed to operate with minimal operator input yet still provide the flexibility required by a
wide range of survey conditions.
1. With the unit’s front panel power switch in the OFF position, confirm that the Power (either AC or 24VDC),
Transducer and Computer cables are properly connected at the rear of the unit.
2. Check that sufficient chart paperis loaded for the survey at hand.
3. Turn the Power Switch from the OFF position to Stby. and confirm that the LCD display comes on
showing first the Sign-on Message, and is followed shortly by display of the SYSTEM Menu. The printer
should also print the Sign-on message.
NOTE: Should you feel that a return to the sounder’s default parameter values is called for, then select the
Default Reset parameter in the SYSTEM menu and press Enter.
4. Depending on water depth and bottom type, set the TxPower switch to mid-range (position 6).
5. Turn the RxGAIN potentiometer to the 12 o'clock position.
6. Switch POWER to ON. The unit should print the "Key" parameters.
7. Adjust RxGAIN and TxPOWER to get a clear strong record with few alarms on the displayed depth or
printed on the chart.

Các Echotrac MKIII được thiết kế để hoạt động với nhà điều hành đầu vào tối thiểu nhưng vẫn cung cấp sự linh hoạt theo yêu cầu của một
loạt các điều kiện khảo sát.
1. Với phía trước bảng điều khiển chuyển đổi quyền lực của đơn vị ở vị trí OFF, xác nhận rằng điện (hoặc AC hoặc 24VDC),
đầu dò và máy tính cáp được kết nối đúng ở phía sau của đơn vị.
2. Kiểm tra xem đủ paperis biểu đồ đã nạp cho cuộc khảo sát ở bàn tay.
3. Xoay chuyển mạch điện từ vị trí OFF để STBY. và xác nhận rằng màn hình hiển thị LCD trên
