Q: It has been 10 years that Nestle MILO has accompanied with the MILO Basketball Festival. How do you evaluate the development of the HCMC school basketball movement over years ?
A: + We see the strong growth of basketball movement over years. In the first year tournament there were 70 teams and this year there are 118 teams from 75 schools in HCMC.
+ Together with football, basketball has become one of the key sports in the framework of National Hoi Khoe Phu Dong Tournament.
+ With the great efforts of the HCMC Basketball Federation, basketball festival has been an event, which is eargerly awaited by schools children in mid – May each year. From this tournament, many young basketball talents have been discovered and trained to be professional basketballers for the City’s basketball team.
+ In addition to the annual basketball Festival, Nestle MILO actively supports children in practising baskeball. Through MILO Energy Journey -the community fundraising program, we equipp basketball stands and physical exercises instruments for schools in HCMC . Every summer, we open energy camp where we invite professional coaches to train children to play football, basketball.
With all those efforts, we are confident that the HCMC basketball movement will continue to expand and there will be more and more children enjoy to practise this sports.

+ Cùng với bóng đá, bóng rổ đã trở thành một trong những môn thể thao trọng trong khuôn khổ của Quốc Hội Khỏe Phù Đổng Tournament.
+ Với sự lớn những nỗ lực của Liên đoàn Bóng rổ TPHCM, lễ hội bóng rổ đã được một sự kiện, đó là eargerly đợi của các trường học trẻ em ở giữa - Có thể mỗi năm. Từ giải đấu này, nhiều tài năng bóng rổ trẻ tuổi đã được phát hiện và đào tạo để trở basketballers chuyên nghiệp cho đội bóng rổ của thành phố.
+ Ngoài bóng rổ thường niên Festival, Nestle MILO tích cực hỗ trợ các trẻ em trong việc thực hành baskeball. Thông qua chương trình gây quỹ cộng đồng MILO Năng lượng Journey -the, chúng tôi equipp bóng rổ đứng và dụng cụ tập thể dục cho các trường học tại TP HCM. Mỗi mùa hè, chúng tôi mở trại năng lượng mà chúng ta mời huấn luyện viên chuyên nghiệp để đào tạo trẻ em chơi bóng đá, bóng rổ.
Với tất cả những nỗ lực đó, chúng tôi tự tin rằng phong trào bóng rổ TP.HCM sẽ tiếp tục mở rộng và sẽ có ngày càng nhiều trẻ em thích để thực hành này thể thao.
