The next important subject we have to consider is the basis of the new table of samplelocations. The experts believe that a look-up table is a more appropriate approach because itallows the cleanroom or clean-zone to be divided into fundamental unit areas that have sometangible logic. Therefore, for very small clean-zones, fundamental unit areas of one squaremetre were considered appropriate, and for larger cleanrooms and clean-zones fundamentalunit areas of 4m² were considered to be suitable. The DIS feedback clearly indicated thatthere was confusion between fundamental unit areas and sub-divided regions. The expertsare working on improvement to the text to resolve this problem.
