A. Job Summary
Assist Health & Safety Section Manager (HSM) on all aspects of the health and safety activities.

B. Job Descriptions
1. Responsible for supporting the Health and Safety Section Manager (HSM) on all aspects of the health and safety activities, and keeping the HSM fully informed at all times.
2. The position will be based in the NSRP site office located at Living Quarter office, Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hoa Province. The work will also involve travel to the NSRP project site.
3. Specific responsibilities of the Health and Safety Staff include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the implementation of the NSRP’s health and safety activities under the direction of the Health & Safety Leader and Managers.
- Studying and translating technical documents of NSRP refinery in order to prepare reports and application dossiers to be submitted to Vietnamese authorities. Typical technical documents of NSRP refinery include process description, specifications, process flow drawings, piping & instrument diagram, etc.
- Develop Health & Safety related management plans and procedures under guidance of Health & Safety Leader and Managers and in conformance with NSRP LLC requirements and IFC standards.
- Implement Risk Management activities (hazard identification, characterization, risk assessment, tracking corrective and preventive control measures, prepare and implement training courses, etc.) in order to achieve high HSE performance in NSRP refinery. -
- Create and maintain good relations with all relevant local authorities.
- Support IPMT and EPC contractor when they monitor the NSRP project related construction activities.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by Health & Safety Leader and Managers.
