The salon is open to amateur and professional photographers from all over the world and all ages; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization, or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to salon rules and conditions. Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion (scan) or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and the exhibition assumes no liability for any misuse of copyright. The salon will be conducted in accordance with the requirements and practices of PSA.SECTIONSEach entrant may submit a maximum of four images in each of the following two sections:A) PORTRAIT (color/monochrome digital) PSA PID ColorB) OPEN (color/monochrome digital) PSA PID ColorDEFINITIONSGeneralThe original image must be made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or captured digitally. All images must be original and may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else. Original images must be altered by the maker; artwork or computer graphics generated by the entrant may be incorporated, if the original photographic content predominates. Images may not be constructed entirely within a computer. It is necessary that the image's core content be identifiable.MonochromeA Monochrome image is defined as having varying shades of no more than one colour (various shades of that colour from very light to very dark) but it may be any single colour. Multi-toned images (various shades of two or more colors) and grey scale images with an added colour are not acceptable in Monochrome Class sections and must be entered in Colour Class sections.FIAP ProcedureWith the sole act of submitting his/her images or files to a salon under FIAP Patronage, the entrant accepts without exception and with no objection that the submitted images can be investigated by FIAP to establish if these obey to FIAP regulations and definitions even if the entrant is not a member of FIAP; that FIAP will use any means at its disposal for this undertaking; that any refusal to cooperate with FIAP or any refusal to submit the original files as captured by the camera, or failure to provide sufficient evidence, will be sanctioned by FIAP and that in case of sanctions following the non compliance with FIAP regulations, the name of the entrant will be released in any form useful to inform the breaches of the rules. NUMBER AND IDENTIFICATION OF WORKS
· the same image must not be submitted in more than one section
· no title or identification of the maker shall be written anywhere on the face of an image
· image size must not exceed 1920 pixels in width and must not exceed 1080 pixels in height
· file must be saved in JPEG format, RGB mode (not CMYK), the resolution should be 300 dpi, compression between 8 and 10
The organizer can use the exhibited works for reproduction in the catalogue and for promotion without paying any author's fee. By submitting an entry for the Wojnicz Salon the entrant permits the organizers to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication in a catalogue, on an internet site and/or in other media related to the Wojnicz Salon.
SUBMISSION OF WORKS
Photographs are submitted in digital form, sent as picture files sized 1980x1080 at 300dpi, or in any dimension derived thereof. No file naming is needed. Contests using digital projection will judge the images as received from the participant at 100% of the maximum permitted pixel size. Digital images can not be altered, including resizing, by the Contest before judging.

• PSW Fotum: medals for the best three authors
• the jury reserves the right to grant additional awards (at least 300 €)
NOTIFICATION & CATALOGUE
All entrants will be sent a colour printed catalogue. All participants will receive report card notifications via e-mail. The results of the exhibition will also be published on the website: http://salon.fotum.org
