But then one day… JEALOUS KRYSTAL MANIFESTED HERSELF.

It was on MBC’s ending stage- when Amber unnie shook hands with Hyuna unnie of ‘4minute’. That was when I saw the look; the look on Krystal’s face said it all: she likes Amber unnie, too! And at that moment she was jealous.

What made me so sure of this jealousy? Here it goes: Krystal, (God bless her), is very very good at these blank facial expressions. It’s no secret that she could fool anyone with that innocent poker face and ice princess image that she has. But I accidentally found out a habit of hers when something she claims as hers is taken away from her; or when someone else gets what she wants—- she twists her ring that she wears on her right ring finger, (I referred to this habit as Krystal’s ring thing).

There was an instance when Victoria unnie decided to give me the last piece of chocolate she brought home from China and Krystal did it. She may have worn a blank expression but she did the ring thing reaction. She did it again when Luna unnie refused to give her mangoes. And she did it again when manager oppa bought only Victoria unnie a souvenir for a trip. So see, while Amber unnie was pimping, and Hyuna unnie was talking to her enthusiastically, Krystal was doing her ring thing! I knew she was pretending to be interested in talking to me, but I was able to see that she was side-eyeing Amber unnie and Hyuna unnie that time.

I even remembered the date: 230909 (look it up it’s still there online). Yep, I did mark the date cause I really wanted these two to be together. I was even able to search for those shippers (still not sure what to call them…Kryber? Berkry?).

There were too many instances of those side-glances, secret looks, shy smiles, flirting eyes that these two send each other almost all the time. (I obviously can’t cite them all here cause this story won’t end but I’m certain a lot of those moments were caught by fancams). These two may be discreet and subtle when it comes to tv broadcastings and radio shows, but they’re somehow more relaxed and I could say themselves when we have these school tours, or out of town performances- when there are no professional cameras recording them.

Amber unnie would make Krystal laugh; Krystal would do the same. Amber unnie gives Luna or Victoria unnie her attention; Krystal would send eye daggers their way. (She thinks she’s being covert but she’s too obvious I find it so funny).

Okay okay I’ll give another example: The near end of 2010 aka the months of Amber unnie’s ankle injury aka f(5) became f(4) aka Amber unnie was in the US (AND aka Krystal’s gloomy days).

When Amber unnie was around, Krystal always visited the dorm, like she even slept in the dorm (ahem Amber unnie’s room) five out of seven days a week. The two of them would always watch these American tv shows and movies, or Amber unnie would teach Krystal solving the rubik’s cube, or both of them (bless these nerds) would randomly ask each other math equations. They’re dorks. And nerds. And they’re so adorable together it’s so frustrating!

But to let you know, yeah, Soojung also spent time with all of us. She often went shopping with me and Victoria unnie. She also went to mani-pedis with Luna unnie weekly. We all watched late night movies when we had time. We also became fond of this game called monopoly and Amber unnie always won, while Krystal was always the sore loser. Yet there were a lot of times Amber unnie let her win. See???

If I were to add everything up: majority of Soojung’s dorm visits involved spending time with Amber unnie. Like, Amber unnie won against us other members by 70-30 in being with Krystal.

So to prove my point, when Amber unnie wasn’t in the dorm anymore, Krystal barely visited. Yeah she still visited like twice a week, but she’s gloomier than ever. Victoria unnie and Luna unnie may have noticed too but they didn’t voice it out. Soojung smiled, but it didn’t reach her eyes. She still went shopping with us, but it was like she wasn’t even there because she talked so little.

When I once called Jessica unnie and asked her what Krystal often did at home, she said that her younger sister didn’t go out that much; that she just mostly stayed in her room all day and would just watch tv or read a book. She would emerge from her room only during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

And now, 4 years have passed and still…nothing?!! They’re still not together! I don’t know why I’m so affected but they really should just be together. They act all couple-y in front of us members and even manager oppa and the staff but suddenly, they act nonchalant and indifferent when in public. They never had girlfriend or boyfriends in the span of four years but they still didn’t date each other!

When Krystal hangs out with another guy, Amber unnie would suddenly be grumpy (in her own way), because Amber unnie is always nice; her grumpy attitude is just dodging invites to hang-out. She says she’ll stay at her apartment and will claim she’ll do something important (but I caught her twice doing that important thing: playing with her rubik’s cube).

I can’t help it anymore. These two idiots need to admit to each other that they want to be together.

So now I’m taking the matter with my own hands. I’ll bring them together! I’ll just flat out tell them that they’re perfect for each other. I’m on my way to Amber unnie’s apartment.

Turned out I need not to do that anymore.

These idiots are secretly together!!! (And I just found out).

I just caught them in a compromising position minutes ago: they were in Amber unnie’s room, lying on the bed, kissing. (Don’t worry, they’re still clothed). I usually knock before I enter unnie’s apartment but this time I didn’t. So I went on inside and that was when I found them.

I managed to make them admit that they were together. And what I found out wasn’t surprising at all: all these years, since our debut (?!!), they were together together. But they just became official a few months ago. They just didn’t want anyone to know because of possible complications: reactions, fans, questions…

But now, I Sulli, know about them. Of course I promised them that I won’t say a word. And they’ve already apologized for keeping it from me for so long. They’re my friends, they’re practically my sisters so I’ll really keep my word.

This is huge.

But now my mind is finally at rest.
