The participants and their background

The guests of the workshop are 15 international students from Master’s program Tropical International Forestry from University of Göttingen/Germany. This year in their third semester, they will conduct a multidisciplinary forest management project in Vietnam in the district A Luoi in Thua Thien-Hue province. The students are from 11 different countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Colombia, Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, Myanmar, Nepal, South Africa and the United States. At the beginning of their several weeks of stay they will launch their project at the workshop. They also get into discussion with academics, experts and representatives from Ministries and from German Development Cooperation (GIZ). Most of them already have several years of professional experience in forestry authorities of their countries

Những người tham gia và nền tảng của họ Các khách mời của hội thảo là 15 sinh viên quốc tế từ chương trình Thạc sĩ Nhiệt đới Quốc tế Lâm nghiệp từ Đại học Göttingen / Đức. Năm trong học kỳ thứ ba này, họ sẽ tiến hành một dự án quản lý rừng đa ngành tại Việt Nam trong các huyện A Lưới tỉnh Thừa Thiên-Huế. Các sinh viên đến từ 11 quốc gia khác nhau: Bangladesh, Brazil, Trung Quốc, Colombia, Ethiopia, Đức, Ghana, Myanmar, Nepal, Nam Phi và Hoa Kỳ. Vào lúc bắt đầu của một vài tuần họ nghỉ của họ sẽ ra mắt dự án của họ tại hội thảo. Họ cũng nhận được vào cuộc thảo luận với các học giả, các chuyên gia và đại diện các Bộ và từ Hợp tác Phát triển Đức (GIZ). Hầu hết trong số họ đã có nhiều năm kinh nghiệm chuyên nghiệp trong các cơ quan lâm nghiệp của các quốc gia của họ
