Tet holiday is a very important and meaningful for Vietnam. During the holiday this year, I was really happy and comfortable experience for cozy moments besides family. In that space was always filled with laughter. I spent the first day of the year for the beloved family, the next day I went to visit my grandparents, teachers and going out with friends. All are excellent, but every night I did homework and did not forget my duties.
Everyyear there r many special occasions in VN, but TET holiday is considered the most significant event to vietnamese. In that time, all vietnamese family members try to come back their homes and get togheter.Last tet holiday, i also had a good time with my family.to prepare for tet, i n' my sister bought many things such as: new clothes, foods, fruits... We also bought much paints to repair my house. THe kumquat tree and peach flower are the most important things that can't lack in my family. after cleaning the house, my parents taught to make banh chung .it seemed so hard to me, but ...................
Among all of the special holidays in my country , I like Tet the most. Tet is an occasion for to everyone to get together in warm atmosphere. Before Tet holiday , Everyone preparesmany things for the celebration and decorate their house. They plant a lot of flowers in front of their house and buy many things such as clothes , foods....Besides , most of the streetsalso are also decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet , everyone spends more time on visiting their relatives , friends , and colleagues. Especially , they give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children to receive lucky money. there is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet.
My family also celebrates the new year in a traditional way. On the New Year Eve my parents take me to my grandparents' home to wish them long, healthy life with full of joys. My grandparents always hand me a small red envelop which contains little amount of money (I wish my grandparents were very rich so that they could give more ). On the second and third day of the New Year, I always stay at home and wait for my parents' friends and relatives to visit and give me the lucky money. In conclusion, I love Tet not only because it has so many good things from good food, new clothes, beautifully adorned streets, newly painted houses to the lucky money but also lots of money makes me so happy
