Work activitiesYou duties would include:transferring patients to and from wards and departmentsdealing with incoming and outgoing maildelivering clean linen to wards from the laundrycollecting domestic and clinical waste, some of which may be hazardousmoving furniture and medical equipment safelytransferring files, specimen samples and pharmacy boxes to different parts of the hospitalremoving deceased patients to the mortuary.Your work could take you anywhere on the hospital site.
