TOPIC 1: Describe a city you have visited which has impressed you
Last summer holiday, I had a good time in Nha Trang city with my family. We went there by plane. We stayed at a hotel for a week. This city is not too big but very clean and romantic. Nha Trang is said to be one of the most beautiful cities in Viet nam. During the time in Nha Trang, we visited some famous places such as: Vinpearl Island, Pogana Pagoda as well as enjoyed some kind of seafood. It was an impressive trip in my life. The sand beaches with blue water and small island around are very interested. I hope that I have chance to come back to this city in the future
TOPIC 6: Describe an event or activity that has made you happy
One of activity that makes me happy is having a together-lunch or dinner with my family’s members. As you know, these days, everybody is so busy with their own work. Nobody has time for anuthing. So I like when we get a chance to get together. For example, all my family’s members got together in my house to celebrate my father’s 50th birthday. I really like this activity because it involves our relationship. On the other hand, everybody feels happy and has lots of fun together.
I think in today’s world, when the families are no longer as they used to in the past, such activity should be encouraged in every family.
TOPIC 7: Describe a person who has influenced your life
In my life, there are many people who grow and help me go ahead. Among them, my father’s contribution is unforgettable. He is a person I love most in this world. I know my father from the very begining of my life as he is the person who brought me to this world. From my childhood, he has raised me with his love and affection. He taught me about the world, people and values. As a father, I would say he has done everything humanly possible to raise me and my 2 other siblings. He spent his earning on our happiness and necessity while he went through hardship. I learned the true meaning of life and started achieving some of the qualities he has. To me, he is an ideal person whom I admire in my life
TOPIC 8: Describe a place that has a special meaning to you
A place that has special meaning to me is my grandma's house, because all my childhood were happened there. The building had 2 floors and each of the floors had balconies which were all different. In order to got more sunshine the first floor’s balcony had a big window.The purpose of second floor were to grown some flowers, so the balcony had a open area.The plants and flowers filled every room in the house. There was a big yard in front of my grandma's house, and at the south of yard had two big apple trees planted by my grandfther. This yard was very useful, it could be a parking lot when all my grandma's children went home. I also learned how to ride a bicycle there. No one taught me, I fell down numerous times in the big yard. Finally, I caught the feeling of riding a bicycle. My grandma's house was a special place where I spent many years, which helped me become the person I am.
