A: Hi B, our meeting today is about signing a contract which we discussed yesterday.
B: Ok, so could you give me some more details about the products?
A: Our products are of the highest quality on term of constructed material and overall performance.
B: That’s good! How about the price?
A: 500$ for each computer and 100$ for each telephone.
B:Ok, so can you give me a discount by 20% if I buy 50 computers and 20 telephones?
A: Because of their low price, and the small profit margin, we can’t be offering any trade discounts on these products. But I’m sure that you will feel satisfied when using our products.
B: Oh ok. Can you tell me the total cost of the consignment?
A: It’s 27000$. By the way, let’s talk about terms and conditions to the contract.
B: Shipment shall be within the ten days after we sign the contract.
B:You also have to guarantee that the products when correctly mounted and properly operated and maintained, shall give satisfactory performance for a period of two years starting from the date on which the products arrive at our company.
B: If you don’t make delivery of all the products on time as stipulated in this contract, you will pay a penalty to us.
A: Ok, we shall make delivery of the products in accordance with the above metioned arrangement.
A: And I’m sure that you will feel satisfied with our products. If any product or any part of the products is not in compliance with the standards of quality due to the inspection, we will supply you free of charge with replacement for all parts not complying with the standards of quality. Time of payment is 10 days after we sign the contract.
A: If you don’t pay for us on time as stipulated in the contract, you will pay a penalty to us. The penalty will be charged at the rate of 5% of the amount of the consignment for every 1 day of delay in paying for us.
A: If every of us breach the contract, the breaching party must pay to the other party 50% of the amount of the consignment.
B: Ok, I agree with you. Let’s sign the contract.
