In the literature data, the technique which is the most commonly used in the analysis of preservatives is high-performanceliquid chromatography (HPLC) [3, 5, 7-22], and less ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) [20-23]. These methods use a mainly reversedphase system – a column packed with octadecylsilane filling, and a gradient elution of mobile phase. The organic solvents used as the mobile phase were methanol and acetonitrile. The other components of the mobile phase were acetate buffer, citrate buffer, or water solutions of acetic acid, sodium acetate, ammonium acetate, triethylamine, and hexane- 1-sulfonic acid sodium salt. These solvents were used in different combinations [3, 5-12, 14-19, 21, 23-30].
