As you may be aware from our previous communications, ACCA is introducing pass rate targets for all Gold ALPs from the June 2016 exam session onwards.



Gold ALPs are now required to



· meet/exceed global pass rate targets for at least 50% of papers taught (for papers with 5 candidates or more), and



· teach a total of at least 20 candidates over a six month period (ie you will be required to have at least 20 candidates in total in the March + June combined sessions and at least 20 candidates in total in the September + December combined sessions).



Continued failure to meet Gold pass rate targets over an extended number of examination sessions may be grounds for suspension or removal of Approved Learning Partner status. Page 12 of your ALP Handbook 2016-17 (attached) provides further details on Gold ALP pass rate targets.



When available in August, you will see that your June 2016 analysis reports include a section regarding your performance compared to both Gold pass rate targets and Platinum pass rate targets. For example:







The analysis of your performance for the June 2016 session will be for information only to help you identify if you are meeting Gold ALP pass rate targets and to implement any actions required to improve your performance where necessary. However, results from this first session will not be included in the eligibility count.



Our official count of your eligibility against Gold pass rates targets will begin from the winter 2016 analysis (September and December 2016 combined sessions).
