The kindergarten consists of two sections: an end structure containing the ancillary spaces and a basement; and a linear tract with south facing rooms for group activities. The latter is constructed of prefabricated hollow-section elements and opens on to the garden.
The elongated tract has a varied articulation internally. Each of the group room is divided into a rear space with a gallery, and a front space roughly 4.20 meters high extending over the full height of the building.
Roof lights ensure an even distribution of daylight. Only the zone beneath the gallery is somewhat darker. Here children can withdraw from the groups, while still remaining in visual contact with the others.
