6. Platform Requirements

The OSS Gateway is usually deployed over a redundant platform. Messaging and Application

Front-ends are deployed in a redundant manner with load balancing and high availability.

Database servers are usually deployed in active-active mode with shared storages configured

in RAID for maximum data protection. This setup ensures continuous service availability when

any one of the node fails.

The hardware and software requirements for the OSS Gateway are listed as below:

o Message Transceiver and Application Server(s)

o Unix Platform (e.g. RHEL, Solaris, etc)

o Java Application Engine

o Database Server(s)

o Unix Platform (e.g. RHEL, Solaris, etc)

o Shared SAS or FC Storage

o RDBMS Database Engine

o Others

o Optional Firewalls

o Load Balancers or High Availability Hardware/Software

o Layer 2 or Layer 3 Switches

13 6. Các yêu cầu Platform Các OSS Gateway thường được triển khai trên một nền tảng cần thiết. Nhắn tin và ứng dụng Front-đầu được triển khai một cách dư thừa với cân bằng tải và sẵn sàng cao. các máy chủ cơ sở dữ liệu thường được triển khai trong chế độ hoạt động tích cực với kho chia sẻ cấu hình RAID để bảo vệ dữ liệu tối đa. Thiết lập này đảm bảo tính sẵn sàng phục vụ liên tục khi có một trong các nút vẫn thất bại.
