While I was more than happy sharing those softer sides only with her, it was also enticing to see how she reacted to being more playful.

C: I’d much rather see it all in person.

C: Maybe…I will strike up the courage to send you a picture when I feel more like it.

She blew me a kiss before turning off the camera and leaving me with a tingling feeling in my stomach. I was so ridiculously in love with her that I couldn’t stop smiling for at least two minutes. It was amazing what one person could do to my heart: my mom had broken it yesterday and Camila had put it back together today. Maybe not completely but that was impossible; but at least to an extent where I didn’t feel devastated anymore. I couldn’t wait to see her again, that was for sure. Hopefully things would continue in the way they had been and strengthen our relationship.

It was finally time for the return match of the world cup qualifiers. Of course I was excited about the game but I was even more thrilled to see my girlfriend and her adorable daughter. I was already unpacking in my room, Normani doing the same while the left-midfielder hadn’t arrived yet. Apparently her flight had been delayed and it was a hassle to get to Utah from Paris.
