Testing tube switchs

The tube switch station (TSS) can be tested with a carrier relatively easily. Before you can do this, you have
to move by Station Service Mode 1 the tube to active position and the slider to resting position.
Put the carrier into the send unit and move the carrier upwards. A beep is issued and the red LED "FKS" on
the station PCB is on when the tube switch station is activated. Remove carrier. The station beeps again if
the signal is reduced (the carrier does not activate the optical tube switch anymore) and the red LED "FKS"
switches off.

A possibly existing tube switch external (TSX) can also be tested. Open the bayonet coupling of the tube
switch and remove it from the tube. Afterwards, actuate manually. A beep is issued and the red LED "FKX"
on the station PCB is on. The station beeps again if the signal is reduced (the hand does not actuate the
optical tube switch anymore) and the red LED "FKX" switches off.

Note:
A mechanical tube switch external (TSX) cannot be tested as easily, because it is glued to the
tube.
