Summoners War: Sky Arena is the hottest new mobile RPG for the iOS and Android platforms – and hey, if that new Amazon phone goes somewhere, it could show up there too. Just saying. Anyways, this is one of the most addicting of the genre yet, with loads of unlockable monsters and buildings (yes, there is even a city building element), and even more ways to make your team a force to be reckoned with. Read on for the top 25 tips and tricks for Summoners War: Sky Arena!25) To speed up battles, put them on 3X and auto mode. You can use the fast forward button to speed the battle up to 2x, 3x, or right back down to 1x speed. Use the play button to make the battle go automatically. This will speed you through about 90 percent of battles, especially combined with targeting, but for tough battles, healing spells won’t be used when targeting is used, so your best bet is to go right back to manual mode.24) Have at least one healer on your team.Fairy is a good bet since you start the game with her. Power up your healer as much as possible. In Fairy’s case, she is both a tank and a healer, so put her in front and raise her stats as high as possible to get FAR more of a fighting chance in the tougher battles.23) Evolve your monsters when they hit the maximum experience level.Level them up to their max level using power-ups and using the experienced gained from battle grinding. Then you will be able to evolve them using a combination of material monsters that are the same rarity (star rating) as your gaining monster.22) Participate in the Arena as often as possible for huge rewards. The more you participate, the more arena points you get. Hit the “weekly reward” column to see what you’ll earn at your current rank, and what you can earn at higher ranks. You can earn massive amounts of crystals (the red gems) this way, and if you points and rank are high enough, you can even earn rare monsters as a reward.21) Maximize your defenses to earn arena points and glory without even having to do anything.Go to the Summoner Tower and put a strong team on the defense, but make sure that they are also a highly diverse team so that you can knock off all manner of different teams. Make sure that you have the maximum number of Arcane Towers because they can do area damage to all monsters on your opponent’s team in battle.20) Grind the dungeons when necessary.Sometimes, you just will not have the material monsters necessary for a good power-up run. In this case, your best bet is simply to grind for experience. You’ll earn a ton of mana (the blue crystals) this way, too, which helps not only with power-ups to your monsters, but with powering up your runes.19) Grind the hardest stages that you possibly can.Your best bet for maximum experience is to grind the hell stages if you have unlocked them, or the hard stages if you haven’t unlocked them. The higher the difficulty level, the more experience and mana you’ll get, the more likely that you’ll get better monsters as loot, and the more likely you will be to get rarer and more powerful runes.
18) A cheat to get a lot of player experience points
This requires a whole lot of mana to do, but this is one of the best ways to get to the next level and possibly unlock another building. Build a bunch of large rocks (not the garden rocks) and then get rid of them. Each one that you get rid of will be worth 100 experience points. Clear out the rocks in your island itself before you do this, but then do this until you get to the next experience level.
17) Equip the maximum number of runes on each of your monsters.
Each monster can have up to six runes, so if possible, max out the number of runes on every one of your monsters. Power them up – it only costs mana to do so – but power them up as evenly as possible so that you get the maximum bang for your buck. The more you power them up, the more it will cost for future power ups, and the more likely a power up is to fail.
16) Complete quests to earn huge rewards.
Quests, missions and achievements will all earn you loads of mana, experience, and possibly even crystals depending on the quest, so if you are bored or you’re stuck on something and you don’t know what you want to do next, simply look over your quests and start completing them.
15) Look for the Fusion Hexagram to become available in the store at some point.
Right now, it’s not available at all, but it still shows up in the store. Once it does become available, build it and you will be able to fuse monsters together. When you fuse monsters, they will become a brand new and entirely different monster. The new monster will have a rarity rating higher than that of the monsters that you combined together.
14) Awaken your monsters to power them up and to possibly increase their rarity.
Awakening your monster will change both its name and its form. To awaken a monster, you will need specific essences, which are different for every monster you find. Tap on Awaken button and tap on a monster to see the essences that you will need. Once you get them, come back and you can awaken them regardless of the experience level of the cards.
13) Beat the ruins to unlock the Cairos Dungeon.
Once you beat the Kabir Ruins, you’ll unlock the Cairos Dungeon. This is where all of the good stuff is. This is where you can find the essences that you need to awaken monsters, rare rune combos, limited time dungeons that you can get big bonuses from, or even just tons of experience points and mana. Plus, these dungeons can be some of the most difficult ones in the whole game.
12) Where to get more essence?
The essence dungeons are the Hall of (whatever) in the Cairos Dungeon area, but aside from the Hall of Magic, the other elementals are available only one day per week. When they do become available, play them as often as possible so that you can rack up the necessary elemental essences to awaken your monsters.
11) How to change low-rarity essences into high-rarity essences
Purchase the Fuse Center and you will be able to do this. You’ll be able to put low rarity essences together to make medium essences, and you will be able to put medium essences together into high essences. The higher the rarity level of the monster that you want to awaken, the more rare essences that you will need.
10) Add the highest level friends that you possibly can.
The higher the level of your friends, the better the leader monster that they are likely to have, that can help you out during battles. You can use your friends’ monsters once per day, so make sure you have the most and the best available. If someone hasn’t answered your friend requests, then delete them and start adding other people.
9) Invite friends to earn some major bonuses.
The more friends that you invite, and who actually accept your invites, the better the rewards that you will earn. 5 friends will earn you some mana, while 10 and 30 friends will earn you free crystals, and 50 friends will earn you a rare monster. You can invite via Facebook, texting or email, so try to invite those who you know play mobile RPGs.
8) Take advantage of the buildings that can earn you free crystals just by existing.
The Crystal Mine can be purchased beginning at level 10, and once you have it, it will earn you one gem every 10 hours. Up to three gems can collect here at a time. After that, it will be full and nothing will appear until you collect the crystals and empty it out. The Crystal Titan does the same thing except it earns one crystal every 8 hours instead of every 10 hours.
7) Use extra buildings to earn your monsters some free experience points.
Build the Tranquil Forest, and you can stick monsters in there (up to four at a time) and they will earn 100 experience points every hour. Build the Crystal Lake and up to four monsters at a time can earn 150 experience points. Build the Gusty Cliffs and it will do the same thing as Crystal Lake, except that you can place up to five monsters in there at a time.
6) Expand your island.
Not only will your island additions allow you to put more buildings on your island, but they will give you the opportunity to earn more experience points. Rocks and trees, once cleared out, will gradually return over time, giving you the opportunity to get rid of them in exchange for experience points.
5) Elementals work in a Rock Paper Scissors fashion.
Fire types, or red, will be strong against wind types, or yellow. Wind types are strong against blue, or water types. Water types will be strong against fire types. Light and dark, or silver and purple, are strong against each other. Fire, wind and water are neutral against light and dark, or vice versa, and every element is neutral against itself.
4) Pull out every trick in the book to beat a tough boss character.
Want to beat a boss character but you keep losing? There are a number of strategies for this. Fill your party with elementals that are strong against the boss. Save your strongest friend leader to use against the boss character. Fight the battle manually so that you can target and use your skills as effectively as possible.
3) Take advantage of the Angelmon and the Devilmon.
The Devilmon will allow you to boost the skills of any other monster, even if that monster’s level is already maxed out. The Angelmon will provide huge levels of experience points when they are used as material. Elemental Angelmon work best when paired with the same element of monster, while Rainbow Angelmon will provide an equally huge boost to every elemental monster.
2) Take advantage of Glory Points in the Glory Store
Earn more glory points by participating in the Arena. You earn them every time you fight, and you earn them every time someone battles you, as well. Go to the Glory Point Store and you can buy more unknown scrolls, mystical scrolls, and buildings which increase your energy, mana production, and which can provide blanket statistical increases for all of your monste
