Nowadays, cars have had an essential impact on people's daily lives because the flexibility and convenience are very suitable for modern life. However, it can not be denied that the regular car use is leading to extreme consequences, and restricting individuals to use cars could not address this dilemma completely. The issues associated with the widespread use of cars are becoming increasingly popular to the general public. Firstly, exhaust fumes caused by cars have contributed to air pollution and the greenhouse effect. This has made millions of citizens in the world suffering from respiratory diseases as well as severe weather conditions such as floods or droughts. Secondly, as there are more and more people drive to work rather than walk, cycle, or take public transport, there are heavy traffic jams almost every day at rush hours, which is a waste of valuable time which should be spent on work. Finally, according to official statistics, car accidents has cost huge numbers of people's lives and leave emotional pain for relatives. To deal with this problem, some people believe that governments should impose a strict restriction on car use, but I do not think that this kind of method can be the best option because it may reduce mobility and affect car industry. A better solution would be investing more in car manufactories to produce products which are more environmentally friendly. Also, if there are more underground tunnels built and appropriate measures in managing time work to diminish the number of vehicles during rush hours, traffic problem will be alleviated. Moreover, it is vital to raise the public awareness about traffic regulations and obligations when driving on the road.In conclusion, the popular use of car could be a reason resulting in negative effects on human lives; nevertheless, the car use's restriction might not handle these problems completely.
