Parents play an indispensable role in a child’s life. Therefore, some people believe that parents are the best teachers of their children during their whole life. Firstly, parents play a crucial role in forming their children’s habits and characteristics. Obviously, family is the first living environment of a small child since he was born; parents, of course, are the dearest to him. Moreover, parents are also able to teach their children how to do good deeds and be nice to other people by pointing out the difference between right and wrong. Apparently, a little child is taught to say "thank you" to people who help him or give them presents by his parents as well as to apologize when he does something wrong. Clearly, parents are the very first and the best teachers for the children.

For instance, one of the greatest inventors of 20th century, Thomas Edison, was actually taught by his mother instead of being trained at school.
