In order to thoroughly understand the organizational changes that have happened through the
history of the LEGO company, the development of organizational management and
organizational communication will be gone through. Focus will be on the so-called “founding
approaches”, which have influenced the study of organizational management and
communication greatly. To start out with, the classical approach originating in the late 19th
century will be outlined, followed by a brief description of the human relations approach, and
finally, the approach of human resources will be covered briefly.
