2 PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
This section specifies the service quality levels to be complied with in the contract, including the method of measurement or detection, the time allowed for corrective action and any tolerances permitted. In the case of Road Maintenance Services the service quality levels are assessed over section lengths as defined in the tables. A single penalty point is awarded for either a single or multiple occurrence of the same defect within the given section length for the item.
In the case of Road Management Services, non-compliance is evaluated according to the procedure outlined in Section 4.
2.1 Road Management Services

2.2 Road Operation Services
The following tables summarise the performance criteria to be applied for evaluation of each asset item maintained under the contract, including the basis for award of Performance Penalty Points for payment reductions. Each criteria is referenced to the equivalent criteria in TCCS 07:2013/TCDBVN. This specification takes precedence over TCCS 07:2013/TCDBVN wherever the requirements detailed below are more rigorous.
