Dear Medical and Pharma EHS coordinators,

We have just received information that tomorrow Hanoi Department of Industrial and Trade (DOIT) will come to our 2 plants to check our management on chemical.
This checking is a step for us to get the approval for "chemical accident response in two plants". We did send them the whole documents, now they come to check our actual operation.

Besides, we want to impress you that this checking is not an official checking to find the findings to punish. It is to see our good points and mistakes to improve, and if all points are complied, DOIT will approve for us. That is why they inform us the checking schedule lately.
There are some information below we would like to share you and ask you for the support and involvement especially the teams who are working with chemicals:
- Checking date: 2-Feb-16 (tomorrow)
- Checking time:
+ La Thanh: 8:30 - 9:30 am
+ Thanh Oai: 10:00 - 11:00 am
- Checking area: All chemical storages, chemical using areas (including production area).
- Inspectors: DOIT (3 people). When they come to each area, we will call EHS coordinator of that area comes to support to answer their questions regarding the chemical management. Pls. try to arrange time when we call you especially EHS coordinators from departments who are working with chemicals
- Department preparation:
+ Assure all warning boards, chemical name, sub-label are available .
+ MSDS (Material Safety Data sheet) are kept at the chemical keeping and using areas
+ Chemicals must always be kept on the pallets. It is not allowed if chemicals are put on the floor.,
+ Assure all tools for chemical accident cases and PPE are kept in storing areas
+ Note: For La Thanh chemical storage, it needs to be set to keep only chemicals. It is not allowed to keep other things (Eg: cartons, ...) in this storage.

We see this time is a busy time for us; however, in order to comply with chemical laws, pls. try to support us!.
