Students must satisfy all the following qualifications,

a. A student from PCU sister university (University or College with MOU agreement).

- Must be a foreign citizen (Non-Korean only) and currently not studying in Korea.

b. Must have studied at least 2 semesters from home university. (a student in at least 2nd

year(sophomore) of an undergraduate program as of January 2016)

c. GPA (grade point average) must be over than 80% (points) out of 100% (points) scale(See

the attachment titled “C.G.P.A. Conversion Table”). [VERY IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT]

d. Never have received any scholarship awarded by NIIED in the past.

e. Multiple applications to different partner universities in Korea are strictly screened and

forbidden.

C. Importance Notice for the finally Nominated Students (After NIIED Announcement)

1. Awardees [selected students] must register at least 1 class (2~3 class hours a week) of the Korean language or Korean

culture during the exchange study period.

2. When students finish their exchange student program, they must submit their memoirs before they return to a home country.

3. When NIIED requires the nominated students to submit their photo(s), home mailing address, e-mail address, any academic

records of their majors, students must provide those informations to NIIED.

4. Students who applied for 2 semesters of GKS Exchange Student Program, their 1st semester’s GPA (grade point average)

must be over than 80% (points) out of a 100% (points) scale to receive NIIED’s scholarship for the following semester.
