Open since 2005 and originally known as Rock Garden Spa Resort, Rock Water Bay first featured a number of bungalows on a green hillside facing the beach. In April 2009 it began expanding, with 34 villas, a restaurant and small and large salt water swimming pools, creating great harmony and wonderful views. The combination between nature - hills, mountains, and the sea - and architecture is a distinctive feature of Rock Water Bay. The resort, nestled on Ke Ga Cape, is somewhere to enjoy the glistening morning sunlight, if you love getting up early to witness the sunrise on the beach.

Unique Architecture

The first sight upon entering Rock Water Bay is its luxurious villas on the hillside facing the open sea. You can walk down gently sloping steps to the beach and go barefoot near the waves and the mountains. All villas have ocean views from the balcony and a cool breeze. One special feature is that every balcony has a tub, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the view and the breeze.

Another distinctive feature of Rock Water Bay is its swimming pools. Viewed from on high, they appear to be dug into the natural granite hills and connected to the beach. Sea water is pumped into a filter system then into the swimming pools, making the water pure and full of mineral, which are good for the health. The pools also have waterfalls and a Jacuzzi, while a bar serves drinks and food nearby. Barbecues by the poolside are especially popular.

The whirlpool tub outside is made from grindstone and its deck paved by round gravel. The grindstone and gravel in the middle of the natural rocky surrounding helps give a more austere look to the bungalows.
