Both girls stole away into Lauren’s bedroom after helping clear the table. Lauren plopped back on the bed, letting out a tired sigh. The day had already exhausted her, and they still had two more trips to make. Camila giggled, crawling on top of her so her knees were on either side of her torso and planting a kiss on her girlfriend’s nose.“Goofball,” Lauren laughed. Camila simply crinkled her nose, rolling off of the bed and wandering over to the suitcase. Lauren sat up, wiping her eyes and watching as Camila dug around until she found her blue hoodie. The small girl changed, leaving her in only the hoodie and her undergarments. The hoodie was so big on her that it came down to the middle of her thighs, almost as if it were a dress. Camila giggled and wiggled her arms to find the opening of the sleeves.Lauren followed suit, changing into a pair of pajama shorts and a sweatshirt. Camila had already disappeared into the bathroom, and once Lauren was dressed, she snuck up behind Camila and wrapped her arms around her waist.“Y'look beautiful,” Lauren whispered, resting her chin on Camila’s shoulder and looking at their reflection in the mirror. “Especially your eyes. They tell so many stories. That’s what I love about them.”“They do?” Camila tilted her head to the side, setting her toothbrush down and wiping her mouth. Lauren nodded.“They tell me things your words could never say,” Lauren pressed a kiss in the crook of Camila’s neck and met her eyes in the mirror. “I’ve always loved your eyes.”“You know I love your eyes,” Camila smiled shyly, turning around and meeting Lauren’s green orbs, studying them adoringly. “They hold the ocean. I like that,” she nodded softly. “I always liked the sound of the ocean. It calms me down. That is what your eyes do, too.”Before Lauren could respond, Camila continued talking. “You know what I think, Lo?” Camila asked, tilting her head to the side.“What?” Lauren smiled softly, following Camila back into the bedroom and sitting down on the edge of the bed. Camila crawled beside her, sitting cross legged and thinking for a moment.“I think my eyes were meant to look into yours,” Camila said softly, planning out each word carefully. “When I look at you, it just feels right. It does, Lo,” she nodded, scooting forward and taking Lauren’s hands in hers.No matter how many times Lauren heard Camila’s thoughts, she was always in awe. Camila had a way of taking the most complex things and breaking them down into something so simple. It just made sense.“God I love you,” Lauren laughed softly, nudging Camila’s shoulder.“I loooooove you too,” Camila giggled, yawning mid-sentence and wiping her eyes. Lauren couldn’t help but laugh.“Tired?” the green eyed girl raised an eyebrow, scooting back on the bed and patting the space beside her. Camila eagerly curled up in her girlfriend’s side. As always, she snaked her arms up the sleeves of Lauren’s hoodie and sighed contently.“Sing?” Camila whispered once Lauren reached over and turned off the light. It was still fairly early, but both girls were more than exhausted.“Of course,” Lauren laughed, moving slightly so she could plant a quick kiss on her girlfriend’s lips. “Only for you, goofball.” Camila giggled and crinkled her nose.
