The Procurement Manager is responsible for notifying Material Controller/ Warehouse Keeper to receive materials at least one day in advance and also responsible for providing the Material Controller/ Warehouse Keeper a copy of material documentation such as delivery date, certificates, PO, packing list etc.
The Procurement Manager shall prepare special instructions, if required, for storage and preservation of equipment and materials from requirements of vendors, manufacturers or project specifications whichever applicable.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for informing Suppliers in case of discrepancies and for enquiring/expediting a replacement (reference to OS&D).
