1. OBJECTIVE INSTALLATION PLAN

This installation plan has been set up to create a guide line for the installation of the Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster and gives a global description of main items of the preparation before installation and the actual installation of the Suspended Looping Coaster.

This plan together with the knowledge of the local site situation and other local requirements can therefore also be of help during tender of installation activities.

The project installation schedule which is part of this plan states a recommended installation sequence. Subject to site situation, access of cranes and other installation equipment, a custom made installation sequence can be composed in close co-operation between customer, installation contractor and Vekoma.
When the installation sequence has to deviate from the enclosed recommended project installation schedule it is advisable to discuss this in early stage with Vekoma. Fabrication and shipment sequence can then possibly be adjusted in conformity with the required installation sequence.

To discuss further details it can be helpful to have a meeting between customer, Installation Company and Vekoma in view of this plan.


2. SAFETY RULES

All local government and Owner proscribed Safety Rules of the customer and/or country shall be obeyed on the site.
In the absence of specific Safety Rules, the Installation Contractor shall adhere to those rules determined to be necessary by the owner. If the Owner determines Safety Rules in excess of those required by local government for any aspect of the installation Contract, the Installation Contractor shall abide by the Owner’s direction in these regards.
The Vekoma on site supervisor takes care that the minimum safety conditions are being kept for its personnel and advises the Owner and Installation Contractor in regards with Safety on site when necessary. This in conformance with the local rules and the Vekoma Safety Rules which ever are of the highest standard.
The Installation Contractor shall ensure that all of his personnel have the necessary basic and specialized safety equipment that is required by local government and Owner proscribed requirements. These include, but are not limited to safety shoes or boots, safety helmet, safety glasses and/or goggles and safety belts.
The Installation Contractor shall arrange that the Vekoma supervisors have hygienic sanitary facilities (toilets and washrooms), which are cleaned regularly, available close to the site.
In enclosure 5 of this plan an alarm card is enclosed. The owner/general contractor is requested to complete this form and send it to Vekoma Project Manager ultimately 2 weeks before start of installation in order it can be handed over to Vekoma site representatives to have such at hand in case of any emergency.









3. SEQUENCE OF OPERATION

In this chapter the installation of the Suspended Looping Coaster will be described global, following under mentioned headlines:
- Deployment of cranes / installation equipment / installation manpower
- Supply of material / arrangement of the site
- Preparation foundations for installing columns
- Installation of columns and tracks
- Installation of drive / brakes / release / gates
- Installation of stairs and platforms
- welding on site / on site modifications
- Finishing / paint touch up
- Installation electric, pneumatic and hydraulic
- Installation of train
- testing / instructions / commissioning
- Requirements installation labour

Deployment of cranes / installation equipment / installation manpower
- With help of this plan and taking in account the local situation cranes, installation equipment and installation manpower can be arranged. This installation plan is based on the remarks as mentioned in the project installation schedule regarding site situation, equipment, normal weather situation and qualification of manpower.

Supply of material / arrangement of the site
- Before start of installation and during installation of the ride the materials arrive at the jobsite.
