Because so many students have been registering for classes in the Humanities Department for which they have not fulfilled the prerequisites, the Faculty Committee of the humanities Department has decided that a new policy will go into effect for the coming semester. This new policy, which was instituted by a unanimous vote of the Faculty Committee of the Humanities Department, is that all students who want to register in courses other than introductory courses in the Humanities Department must obtain signatures from their advisors before registering in these courses.
