The dual-band transmitter will be applied to develop wireless sensors network for Internet-of-things, which is the most emerging topic right now for the next generation networking. Of the many advantages IoT brings to us, its applications in agriculture innovate numerous farming methods. IoT sensors provide farmers invaluable information about crop yields, rainfall, pest infestation, and soil nutrition to production and offer precise data which can be used to improve farming techniques over time. Successfully developing dual-band low power wireless transmitter for IoT will open a lot of other innovative research areas in smart farming, contribute to innovation, industrialization and modernization of agriculture in Vietnam. In the transmitter system, Power amplifier (PA) is the most important IP that decides the efficiency, the sent-out power level and the power consumption of the system. Designing a dual-band, ultra low power consumption, high efficiency integrated PA for IoT is very challenging and not widely published in the literatures. The project will deliver a state-of-the-art PA and other core IPs for IoT transmitter, that can be extended to many high-end wireless sensor systems for IoT and used in diverse IoT applications. This project will also open oportunity to integrate RF IP cores with Mix-signal IP cores and digital IP cores to a very compact SoC, providing an inovative solution for IoT systems. Energy harvesting is also accounted and integrate into the system to deliver enough operating power to the system.
