IMG Universe, LLC (the “Administrator[s]”) invites you to submit a final question to be asked live in the 2015 MISS UNIVERSE® Competition (“the Competition”) via Facebook post and your Facebook account name and Facebook profile picture may be displayed on-air (“Submission[s]”).
The submission process will be conducted pursuant to these Instructions and any other instructions the Administrators may designate. All Submissions become the sole property of the Administrators and may be used in any manner, commercial or otherwise, in any and all media and/or technologies now known or hereafter devised throughout the universe in perpetuity. The Administrators reserve the right to edit and/or alter any Submission in their sole discretion. These Instructions are subject to change at any time.
Eligibility: Submission is open to anyone with a valid Facebook account, who is thirteen (13) years of age or older. Void where prohibited.
Submission Period: Posting will open on December 13, 2015 at 4:00 PM ET, and will close on December 19, 2015 at 11:59 PM ET. Only questions that are received during the announced Submission Period will be eligible.
How to Submit a Final Question: To submit a question, you will need a valid Facebook account. Submit your question on Facebook by posting it in the comments section of the official post that is pinned to the top of the Official Miss Universe Facebook Page. By posting your question on Facebook you agree that your Facebook profile picture and Facebook name will be displayed on-air during the Competition. You may not use any third party services to post on your behalf. The Administrators reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to reject posts by any individual who tampers with the submission process or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner. Submission is free with a valid Facebook account. Data rates may apply.
General Conditions: In the event that the Administrators believe that the operation, security, or administration of the submission process is impaired in any way, the Administrators may, in their sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the process to address the impairment and then resume the process; (b) select the question they believe to be the best at the time of the impairment; or (c) or employ any other fair and equitable resolution determined by the Administrators, in their sole discretion. The Administrators shall, in their sole discretion, determine what constitutes a valid Submission.
Release: Administrators, Fox Broadcasting Company, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, any other entity involved in the development or administration of the Submissions, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for any computer, network, technical, electronic, human, or other errors or problems of any kind, for any injury or damage to participants or to any person’s computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from posting, or for posts that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, or late. By participating, you agree to release and hold the Released Parties harmless against any and all claims and liability of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of your participation in the posting process.
Caution: Any attempt by you or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service, mobile phone service, or web site, tamper with the submission process, or otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of the submission process may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Released Parties reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Disputes: THESE RULES, AND SUBMISSION OF YOUR QUESTION, ARE GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN NEW YORK, NEW YORK.
