We have tried pinging Windows Live Hotmail website using our server and the website returned the above results. If live.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

If the site is UP but you cant access the page, try one of the below solutions:
Browser Related Problems
Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Fix DNS Problems

Just got off the phone with Microsoft. Almost all Time warner customers are cut off from any Microsoft accounts. Cant even log into my xbox one right now. Live.com is down and so is outlook. What are they doing about this?Rep I spoke with has no ideal when it will be fixed or why it happened

I can log in to my Hotmail account, but it looks odd, and I can't open any of the emails since last night. I am also not getting any new mails forwarded to my phone. Are they even working on this problem? I'm seeing nothing when I google the situation.

I am trying to log into my account and it keeps saying 'You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect email address or password.' even though i tried only once, i have changed my password 4 times in 5 minutes, still not logging me in. whats going on??

Can not sign in to Hotmail now for the 5th day to check my email. Keeps asking for security code but will not send one by email to any alternate email address. It just keeps looping around. There is absolutely NO help or contact online with this problem that I have been able to find so far. Super frustrated.

On sending with attachment(s) "Sending" takes longer than usual until finally prompting "Cannot connect to Homail. Please try again later". Dispite the prompt, when I check my "Sent" file the email & attachment(s) were successfully sent & received on the other end.

My live.com account is not working right, I sent myself an email from my outlook account... never got it, I even signed out and back in, still nothing... I sent an email from my live.com account to my outlook account and got it right away... BUT my live.com account said it could not be sent, and that if I left that screen my email would be gone for good. I have that email in my inbox of my outlook account?????? I know you say everything is up and running fine but I have tried to get several emails sent to me this morning and I am not getting them.... So something is not working right! I have logged into my live account from 2 different computers and my smart phone. What is UP?

hi i got problem to log in to my 'hotmail' account, i was log in with my correct password but having message ask for security code, i have selected to send the security code to my phone but another message received to tell that the 'service was temporary not working' ask to wait for a while, but few hour later i log in same issue happen, i able to view my email on my mobile phone but not in computer, pls help....

Cannot access hotmail, I can log in to my microsoft live account but as soon as I click on "people" or "outlook" it won't load... the calendar loads though?! tried clearing browser history and cache to no avail.
