Interest Evident On Any Pull-Back
Wednesday July 13, 2016 08:20
(Kitco News) - Most of the drama in metals appears to take place at the Tokyo open. Gold broke down through the $1,338 level in intra-day trading yesterday and the Far East followed through with selling close to the $1,225 level, we mentioned yesterday. Silver was slammed as well, trading as low as $19.90, at the Asian open. For normal humans, who sleep ( I seem to have missed this seminar) in this time zone, the market looks slightly higher. Once the initial sell-off occurred at the Asian open, big buying emerged and erased the weakness in a matter of minutes. Bears again had their chance to wash out the bulls, but there is a strong commitment to this market on any pullbacks. We’ll see if the $1,338 level can again present support.
