Twister was directed by Jan De Bont

Twister was directed by Jan De Bont and is fast and full of action but I don’t think it is as good as his other film , Speed.
The camera moves very quickly and the tornadoes are loud and violent.
The story is about storm chasers , people who follow and study tornadoes. Jo and Bill are the main characters. They have invented a machine called “ Dorothy ” will help them understand tornadoes better.
At first , the machine doesn’ t work and the tornadoes become more and more dangerous. People have to run a lot because there are trees , cars and even animals flying through the air. Some people don’t escape the tornado. Then Jo has an idea and soon the machine is working well. They get a lot of information about the tornado and people are really happy.
The film is not brilliant and some of the dialogues are quite bad , but it is fast and entertaining.
The film also shows you how frightening tornadoes really are. I hope I never see one !
