An Argentine photographer named Esteban Pastorino Diaz has broken a world record by shooting across Beijing's second ring road, a 32.7-kilometer highway which encircles the center of the city, in one single 79.37 meter-long film, officials from the Guinness World Records announced on Aug. 3, 2015.

"The task is quite challenging in that you need to take several factors into consideration such as the shooting angle, the speed of the car, and the intensity of the light," said Esteban, who took one and a half hours to finish the shoot.

In his latest record-breaking feat, Esteban made some modifications to his camera by expanding the camera obscura to contain a longer film, and installing a rotating disk to change the direction of the shot whenever needed.

In order to deliver a top-notch film, Esteban and his team went over the same process three times before handing over their best 79.37 meter-long work to the Guinness authorities.

"Beijing's second ring road is one of the most important roads in the city, along which there is a lot of cultural heritage and modern architecture, giving us a sharp contrast between the old and the new," Esteban explained, talking about the reason behind choosing the road for his shot.

He will make the film available to the public, and hopefully it will remind people of the beauty around them.
