ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Consultant team would like to acknowledge the cooperation of officers from the French

Red Cross, including: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nhat Hoai (Project Coordinator), Ms. Tran Hanh

(Gender Officer), Ms. Kieu Thi Duc and Mr. Do Van Vuong (Local Project Officers) for their

supports during implementation of this study.

The Consultant team would like to express our special thanks to chairpersons of Vietnam Red

Cross in Son La and Lai Chau provinces and in selected districts, including Mr. Quang Van Noi

(Chairman of VNRC in Son La province), Mrs. Nong Thi Phuong (Chairwoman of VNRC in Lai

Chau province), Mr. Quang Van Bieng (Chairman of VNRC in Son La city), Mrs. Bui Thi Dieu

(Chairwoman of VNRC in Muong La district), Mrs. Doan Huong Thom (Chairwoman of VNRC in

Tam Duong district). Those people coordinated the study in the fields, and directly

participated in discussions with the Consultant team.
