Abstract This chapter proposes a wavelet domain digital image-watermarking algorithm by a double encryption based on Arnold scrambling and chaos. Accordingto this method, the Arnold transform is applied to the original watermark, and thescrambling watermark is again encrypted by the Tent chaotic system. Both cover image and watermark image are decomposed by the discrete wavelet transform (DWT),the wavelet coefficients of the digital watermark are embedded in the wavelet coefficients of the cover image and obtain the watermarked image. The experimentalresults indicate that the embedded watermarking is not only invisible and has goodrobustness against image processing, but also bears very good security
