As a rule, the combined examination

As a rule, the combined examination consists of two components of which at least one component is to be given in written form. As a rule, all these components (e.g. a presentation and its submission in written form) are accorded equal weighting and correspond with the scope of a written examination in accordance with section (1) or a written assignment in accordance with section (4). The two assessments combine to provide an examination grade (module grade).
