B-3. Duty-Free Goods In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Korea Tariff Law and Regulations, the following items shall be exempted from duties: (1) Official catalogues pamphlets, unframed photographs and posters, illustrated or otherwise published by the exhibitors. (2) Sample goods (excluding alcoholic beverages and tobacco products) and souvenir articles (badges, medals, etc.) for free distribution, valued respectively at no more that US$ 5.00 (five dollars) per item on the C.I.F. basis, provided that the aggregate value and quantity of the goods are reasonable in the opinion of the Customs Office. (3) Products of low value used up in furnishing or decoration of the temporary stands of the Exhibitors at the Exhibitions, such as paint, varnish and wallpaper, provided that the aggregate value and quantity of the goods are reasonable in the opinion of the Customs Office. (4) Materials for the purpose of demonstrating the operation of an exhibited machine or apparatus consumed or destroyed in the course of such demonstration, provided that the aggregate value and quantity of the goods are reasonable in the opinion of the Customs Office. B-4. Customs Clearing Agents All the exhibits and related materials upon their arrival at a Korean port shall be entrusted to the official customs clearing agent in Korea who will proceed on behalf of the exhibitors to supervise customs clearance, transportation and entry and exit of goods to and from the exhibition site. The Korea International Exhibition Centre (KINTEX), with a view to securing the smooth progress of the said work, has designated the firms (See Appendix 5 - Freight) , Exhibition Constructors as authorized clearing agents to handle the goods to be displayed at the exhibition site. Exhibitors are therefore requested to contact an agent among the firms. B-5. Delivery and Care of Exhibits The official site-handling agents will undertake delivery of goods to the exhibitor's stand at the exhibition hall. Exhibitors should be present at the time of arrival of their goods to receive them and assist, if necessary, with customs clearance. Neither the Organizer nor the official customs clearing and site handling agents can assume responsibility for goods once they have been delivered to the stand site. B-6. Heavy Exhibits Floor loading limits in the exhibition hall are 5tons/sqm. The Organizer cannot assume responsibility should it prove impossible to display a particular item because of its size and/or weight. B-7. Fixings to Exhibition Hall Structure The fixing of machines or other items to the floor of the exhibition hall may only be carried out after written permission has been obtained from the Organizer. The exhibitor must pay any costs thus incurred, including reinstatement of the floor after the exhibition. No fixings or suspensions may be made to, or from the walls, roof of other part of the exhibition hall building. B-8. Nature of Exhibits All exhibits must comprise items or services relevant to the theme of the exhibition and the organizers reserve the right to exclude, or remove, at the exhibitor's cost, any item that the organizer considers is not germane to the event. Information concerning all exhibits must be filled out in designated form which KOTRA provide by email.

Details provided will constitute in advance of the Official Exhibition Catalogue, a resume for official purposes of the contents of the exhibition. Full details of any intended exhibit, or associated material, of an inflammable, radioactive, explosive or other dangerous nature must be separately submitted to the organizer. Only sufficient associated materials for immediate usage may be located on the stand site at any time. Further supplies must be stored outside the exhibition hall. * (See Appendix 2 – Application for carrying-in/out of hazardous materials)
B-9. Demonstrations and Working Exhibits An exhibitor wishing to operate machinery on its stand site, or carry out mechanical demonstrations, must ensure that these practices in no way constitute a fire or safety hazard or interfere with the activities of visitors or other exhibitors. All moving parts must be effectively guarded and controls sited beyond the reach of spectators. The Organizer reserves the right to terminate, or curtail, any practice which the Organizer considers to be detrimental to the exhibition.
B-10. Maintenance and Repair of Exhibits Maintenance and repair of exhibits should be carried out before or after opening hours (10:00 ~ 17:00) and according to the instructions of the Organizer. The Organizer must be informed, as early as possible, of any need for such operations in order that arrangements can be made for access to the exhibition hall at other times. The exhibitor concerned must pay any costs thus incurred.
B-11. Packing Cases and Storage All packing cases must be removed from the exhibition hall as soon as they have been emptied. Arrangements can be made with an official si
