The focus of ISHCMC's Early Education Program is to introduce the children to inquiry-based learning and to instil a love of learning that will serve them throughout their lifetime. We work to develop language, social and motor skills and encourage our youngest students to try new things and explore their world with the guidance of our teachers. ISHCMC EE2/3 and EE4 students are actively engaged in learning through play, songs and storytelling. They acquire important social skills with group activities and collaborative play and there are opportunities throughout the year to build their confidence and self-esteem with class performances. Play is more than recreation; it is a child’s ‘work’ and the play-based experiences designed by our teachers, allow students to extend their existing ideas and to develop new ways of understanding how the world works. For young children, wondering, exploring and investigating, making connections and trying out their theories and ideas through play all demonstrate the skills and habits of inquiry. An inquiry-based learning environment helps students to learn by connecting to what they already know. Teachers provide new experiences, including the time and opportunity for students to reflect and think about their actions to develop thinking. This is achieved through play-based experiences.Trẻ em và giáo viên của khám phá, câu hỏi và khám phá trong một môi trường kích thích.
