Nowadays, scientific and technical developments bring to us many choices of transport as well as allow us to have the right to choose one or more that we think is suitable. Whether we should travel by public transports or use our own car is now a major problem attracting interests. For me, I think public transports will soon become more popular than cars and other personal transports due to some reasons.
Firstly, travelling by bus, train or subway is much cheaper as they can carry a great number of passengers at the same time. That also means the petrol used and the exhaust will be less so we can save a large sum of money as well as contribute to environmental protecting efforts.
Additionally, public transports provide us an excellent way of reducing and solving several traffic problems as accidents or congestions. When many people use the same transport to go to work or back home during rush hours, the traffic density will probably decrease, the road will be less crowded and the transports, of course, will find it easier to move. As a result, people can save much time travelling in order to focus on some other more important works.
Moreover, with buses and subway, we no longer need face up to breakdown or fear of robbers and thieves. In reality, we don’t have to find a place to park or wait hours for car services anymore. We would certainly feel more comfortable, convenient and safe when shopping, playing and enjoying parties with our friends.
In conclusion, with the ability to solve a lot of traffic problems and satisfy the demand of people, public transport is believed to be the best transport choice in the future.
