The mangrove is a diverse ecosystem, rich in species composition, plant, home to many species of wildlife, fish and shrimp species. In addition, mangrove have an important role in disaster prevention, impenetrable barrier soon, wave erosion of sea dykes, river protection. At present, along Thi Vai river the industry is over growing, beside so many serious environmental pollution (organic pollution, heavy metals) that affect the growth of plants, mangroves, where mangroves are dominant. Aim to definite the influence of Cr amount in soil and tree density on the growth, development of the mangroves - Rhizophora apiculata, simultaneously take the simulate the growth of the torch in polluted environment condition. Project “assess and simulate the growth of the torch - rhizophora apiculata blume in polluted environment condition at Long Thanh mangroves” is put forward to implement.Determine the influence of amount Cr in soil, tree density with the torch’s growth speed. Proceed to measure the growth indicator of mangroves and soil samples were taken at the 6 position along the Thi Vai river and Ong Truc canals, then the soil sample was sent to the Institute of environment-resource analysis, determination of Cr amount in the soil. Amount Cr in soil, plant density has a strong correlation with the growth rate of the mangroves. Amount Cr in soil with low plants grow well, back when the Cr content in high ground less developed plants. Simulation of growth mangroves with two assumptions: pollution conditions conditions first pollution runs with Cr in soil in 40 ppm and the second pollution conditions running with Cr in soil at 250 ppm during 120 years. In terms of pollution first assumption, the value of growth rate (G) of fast-growing trees, tall trees, large trunk diameter reaches over 60 cm (approx 70 cm in the optimal environmental conditions), large forest biomass after 120 years. In terms of pollution the second assumption, the growth rate (G) of low trees, trees are less developed, body diameter reaches 50 cm below the low forest biomass, after 120 years of running the model. In conclusion, the Cr concentrations accumulate in soil, plant density correlated with grow mangroves. The Cr content of fast-growing trees in the lowland, forest biomass increased rapidly every year. High concentrations of Cr in soil, plant growth development is slow, slow-growth forest biomass, low forests productivity.
