difference between the predicted and measured capacities associated with the conduction effect is greater even though this study was done experimentally and not numerically. This disparity between the two studies can be explained by the difference between the gas cooler configurations. The gas cooler, examined by Asinari et al. [4], had a greater number of tubes and a relatively smaller temperature difference for each pass than the gas cooler investigated in this study. As a result, they presented a small effect of conduction on the gas cooler capacity. From these two studies, it can be inferred that the conduction effect of conduction on gas cooler capacity can be varied with the arrangement of the tube circuit.
