This toner is none like common tone

This toner is none like common toner I usually use. The consistency is quite moist, rich and thick. I was surprised because of the texture, almost as thick as lightweight/ emulsion. Then I realized that it has the name ‘moisture toner’, so it was meant to have noticeable moisture level when we use it.

First time when I tried it, my skin condition is kinda entering it’s sensitive and acne prone mode. I had tiny pimples around my jaw. I used it at night and when I looked at mirror in the morning I found that some of my pimples got bigger. And then I ceased the usage. I was a bit desperate back then since this toner costs me IDR 80k, it’s bit expensive for me.

After my skin returned in it’s normal mode, I tried to use this toner again. I used it in the morning, after washing my face and before applying BB Cream. This toner moisturizes my skin pretty well. I used my fingers to apply it on my face. It also did not take too long to absorb. I waited for a while until it completey sinked into my skin. And I felt that my face became hydrated and more supple after using this toner, and my bb cream is easier to blend. Well, u must already know that make up tend to blend and settle easier on hydrated/ moisturized skin. I like this benefit so much.
When my skin is in normal mode, this toner sure gives several benefits for me.
This toner is absolutely not a cleansing toner, and don’t try to treat it as one. This toner should be used on a well cleansed skin. It is to prepare ur skin before make up or next skincare steps. To hydrate and enhance the absorbtion of the next skincare u want to apply.
I’ve tried to use it as cleansing toner and it was not working at all.

I only use about 3- 4 drops for my entire face and half of my neck. I think this bottle is gonna last long.
I've used it more than one month until I made this review and it has not reached 1/3 of the bottle.
I usually use it in the morning, sometimes at night too. I think it also helps to tighten my enlarged pores.

U who don’t like fragranced skincare may walk away from it. Seriously, this toner smell is considered strong, though the scent will fade soon after application. Ugh, why The Face Shop seems to like pouring perfume to almost all their skincare.

The Face shop product prices on their official counter here in Indonesia are less expensive than other Korean High Street Brand like The Skinfood and Etude which double even triple the prices we can get via online shop. The Face Shop price gap between ordering online and official counter in Indonesia is not too much.
They often hold promo too. Last time I went to their official shop, there is a discount on blush on product. U can get 2 Lovely Me ex blushes with only IDR 50k.

Who may like it :
- People with dry or dehydrated skin
- Normal skin type
- looking for moist toner
- don’t mind the strong fragrance, alcohol and preservatives
- whose skin is not on acne prone or sensitive mode
- have The Face Shop Member card so u can get it cheaper

Who may not like it :
- Oily and super oily skin
- Sensitive and acne prone skin
- can’t tolerate the strong fragrance, alcohol and preservatives

Will I repurchase? I guess it’s a No. The strong smell, alcohol on the third row and paraben are enough to be reasons.
