Prior to casting of the concrete foundation, the following have to be done;

1. Due to minimum of 150 mm requirement for settlement, the provision of proper joint have to be provided

2. provision of separation on the downspout that will allow to settle (not to encase the downspout from the concrete foundation).

3. Proper compaction of foundation bases
