The Treaty of Prague ended the Seve

The Treaty of Prague ended the Seven Weeks’ War in 1866. Under the terms of the treaty, the German Confederation war disolved. Austria surrendered Hotstein to Prussia, and Italy gainted Venetia. A year later several north German states united with Prussia to form the North German Confederation.The king of Prussia was president, of this confederation, but each state had self-government. As the largest and most powerful state, Prussia dominated the legislature of the Confederation.
