However the problem was from the HP factory that made the tablet, so amazon could not guarantee that a replacement would work.This looks like a really nice tablet. That's when the nightmare began. I have spent several hours over the course of several phone calls over the past week trying to get this service activated. Each time, they tell me the EMEI is no good and they can't activate it in their system. They confirm with me that it's an HP Stream 8, comment that they don't understand why it won't allow it, then bounce me around several phone trees to different provisioning platforms.

None of them have been able to get the data plan activated for me. I am so frustrated at this point that I've started the return process. I really like everything else about this tablet, but I paid extra for the wireless 4G capability and 200mb data for life but it doesn't work.
