Appointment of Sub-contractors to enhance Securitas’ ability to meet customer needs: The reasons to engage sub-contractors may vary. (Examples could be: the provision of a niche delivery where the cost of developing direct delivery would be inappropriate; the organization of a temporary expansion of a Securitas service delivery to meet a customer short term need or even use of specialist expertise or technology.) The reasons for engaging into sub-contracting should however at all times be lawful and never be aiming at circumventing mandatory legal requirements.
Sub-contractors may only be appointed to the extent the use of sub-contractors is legally permitted, the sub-contract arrangements made, are in line with the legal regime applicable thereto and these cannot be re-qualified as illegal employment agreements
