In the study developed by Langevin et al. [86] acomposite proton-conducting membrane based on an ionic liquid and a porous polymer support was prepared for use in a PEMFC at elevated temperature. The composite material was prepared by impregnat-ing a macroporous support with a highly proton conductive ionic liquid: triethylammonium trifluoromethanesulphonate (TFSu-TEA).
These membranes showed conductivities of approximately 2.0102 Scm1 at 1301C and a storage modulus near 200 MPa
